BeFunky covers retouching, collages and simple graphic design in one browser tab, with the batch tools that make a hundred product shots survivable. It is aimed at people who want an edit finished rather than at people who want layers. Exports work on the free plan, which is rarer than it sounds in this category.

The free plan edits and exports with no subscription, at the cost of the AI tools and some assets. Plus is $6.99 a month or $83.88 a year and opens the full effect and template library. Pro is $12.49 a month or $149.88 a year and adds 5,000 batch AI credits a month. Monthly billing is offered on both at a higher rate, and the yearly saving is around half. Unused credits do not roll over, which the FAQ states plainly.

Creators who edit photos often but shallowly: crops, colour, background cleanup and a caption. Anybody who thinks in layers and masks wants Photoshop or Affinity, and will find this frustrating.
