SignWell does the one job an independent business needs from an e-signature tool: send a contract, get it signed, keep an audit trail that stands up. Templates and reminders cut the chasing. The free plan allows three documents a month from one sender, which covers an occasional client contract and nothing busier.
Free covers one sender, one template and three documents a month. Light is $10 a month for unlimited documents, five templates per sender and $10 for each extra sender. Business is $30 for three senders, unlimited templates, custom branding, bulk send and conditional fields, with extra senders at $12. Enterprise is quoted for teams over 50. Annual billing takes 20 percent off, and SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA coverage are stated on every plan including the free one.
Freelancers and small studios sending client agreements, releases and sponsorship contracts. A team routing dozens of documents a week will outgrow the sender limits rather than the features.
Against Dropbox Sign and Docusign this is the cheaper answer to the same question, and the free tier is the differentiator. Three documents a month covers a freelancer who signs a contract per client rather than per project.
