Running the business
DocHub edits and signs PDFs in the browser, which covers the everyday case of filling in a form somebody emailed you without buying a document suite for it. The free plan allows three uses a month of the core features, so an occasional contract costs nothing. Paid tiers add unlimited use, templates and the sending workflow where you chase a countersignature.
Free covers three uses a month of the core features, plus basic PDF tools, the AI assistant and the mobile apps. Basic is $8 a month for freelancers and small teams, and Pro is $12. A monthly and yearly toggle offers 25 percent off for annual billing, and the page does not indicate which state its prices are shown in, so no cadence is claimed here. Advanced functionality can be tried for thirty days at no cost, and the FAQ covers cancelling inside that window.
Somebody who signs and fills a few documents a month and resents paying Docusign prices for it. A business sending contracts every week needs the audit trail and templates that SignWell and PandaDoc build their products around.
The three-a-month free allowance is the reason to start here rather than anywhere else, since most people genuinely sign less than that. Upgrade when you find yourself counting, not before.
