Mighty Networks puts the community first and hangs courses, events and paid memberships off it, which is the opposite order from a course platform that added a forum later. Members get a branded app rather than another tab. The transaction fee on the entry plan is small but real, and it disappears as the plans get dearer.
Launch is $79 a month with courses, events, badges and basic automations, at a 2 percent transaction fee. Scale is $179 and adds more integrations, paid events, intermediate automations and API and MCP access at 1 percent. Mighty Pro is quoted and covers branded apps, strategy services and a 0.5 percent fee. Two months are free on annual billing and a 14-day trial needs no card. The transaction fee is separate from payment processing.
Coaches and community builders whose product is the group rather than the content, and who want a paid membership with an app. Somebody selling a course that happens to have a comments section should look at Teachable or Podia.
Against Circle and Skool this is the one that ships an app under your own name, and it is priced accordingly. If the app is not the point, the other two do the community half for less.
