Chuffed charges the campaign nothing and asks the donor for an optional tip instead, so the whole donation reaches the project once the card fee is paid. That model suits causes and community projects, which is most of what is on there. A creator funding a commercial product will find the audience is not looking for one.
Chuffed charges the campaign a 0 percent platform fee. Donors cover payment processing, and are asked whether they want to add an optional donation to Chuffed on top of theirs. The calculator on their pricing page shows the campaign receiving the full amount pledged. That funding model means the service depends on donor generosity rather than on your raise, which is unusual and worth knowing.
Community projects, causes and creators raising for something other than themselves. A product launch will find neither the audience nor the reward tooling it needs.
