Zeffy takes nothing from a donation, and covers card processing itself out of the optional tips donors leave at checkout. Donations, ticketed events, raffles, auctions, memberships and a donor database are all in the same account. It is built for nonprofits, and the sign-up asks you to be one.

Nothing, on any of it. Zeffy states that it takes no platform fee and no processing fee, and covers card costs itself out of the optional tip a donor is offered at checkout. The catch is not a hidden charge but a social one: your donors see that tip prompt, and some organisations would rather absorb a fee than put it in front of a supporter.

Registered nonprofits, which is what the signup checks. Small organisations feel the difference most, because a few percent of a modest total is the volunteer hours nobody wanted to spend fundraising to cover fees.
