Writesonic sold itself as an AI writer for years and now sells itself as an AI search visibility platform, which is the same article generator plus tracking of whether ChatGPT and its competitors mention you when somebody asks. The writing half still works and still produces articles at volume. The pricing has moved with the positioning, and the entry plan now costs what a mid tier used to.
Lite is $79 a month billed annually with 15 AI articles a month and 10 trial runs, Standard $199 with 25 articles and 50 runs, Professional $399 with 50 articles and 100 runs. Annual billing saves 20 percent against monthly. Extra articles are $100 a month for twenty, and extra seats $50 a month each. Enterprise is quoted.
Publishers and brands who care whether ChatGPT mentions them when somebody asks, and who already spend on SEO tooling. A creator who wanted a cheap AI writer will find the entry price has moved well past that.
This is no longer the budget AI writer people bookmarked in 2023, and the pricing reflects the new positioning rather than the old one.
