Vyond builds character animation from a script, with lip sync and gestures handled for you, which is why it ended up as the default for training video. A creator selling a course gets a house style without hiring anybody. It is priced for companies, and the cheapest seat costs more per year than most video tools cost in three.

Everything is billed annually. Starter is $699 a year, which works out at $58 a month, for one user with 10,000 credits a month. Professional is $1,199 a year and adds team collaboration, Shutterstock assets and translation into 95 languages. Enterprise is $1,649 and Agency is $1,999, the latter adding unlimited rights transfers for client work. There is no monthly option and no free tier.

Course creators and educators who need a repeatable animated house style and cannot draw. A creator making one explainer a year will not get near the value of the annual commitment.
