Animaker builds character animation and whiteboard video out of a library rather than out of keyframes, which puts an explainer within reach of somebody who has never opened After Effects. Downloads are metered per month and the free plan watermarks them. Anything needing precise timing will fight the editor, and that is where most people give up on it.

The free plan allows 3 downloads a month with a watermark. The next tier is $25 a month or $300 a year for 10 downloads a month at 1080p, 30 GIFs and 15 music tracks. Above it, $43 a month or $516 a year raises that to 30 downloads at 2K, commercial rights and version history. Enterprise is quoted and is where 4K, the API and resale licensing sit. Extra downloads are $15 or $10 each depending on the plan, which is worth checking against simply moving up a tier.

Educators, coaches and small brands who want an animated explainer and have no animation skill. Anybody who needs precise timing or a distinctive style will spend longer fighting the editor than learning a real one.
