vidIQ is a browser extension and an app that puts keyword, competitor and thumbnail data next to the video you are about to publish. The part people stay for is the AI coach, which reads your own channel rather than giving general advice. Its suggestions are worth arguing with rather than following.
Free includes 150 AI credits a month and the core research tools. Boost is $16.58 a month billed yearly, which the page presents as the default, and adds unlimited trend research, thumbnails and the deeper coach. Max is $39 a month. One-on-one human coaching and an enterprise tier are sold separately.
A YouTube creator publishing regularly who wants a second opinion on titles and topics before uploading. A channel posting once a quarter will not give the coach enough to work from.
vidIQ and TubeBuddy overlap enough that paying for both is waste. vidIQ is the better research and ideas tool; TubeBuddy is the better bulk-editing one. Pick by which job you actually have.
