Super publishes a Notion page as a fast website on a custom domain, which lets somebody who already writes everything in Notion stop copying it somewhere else. Themes, custom CSS and code injection cover the styling Notion will not do. Pages load quickly because Super serves them rather than proxying Notion. The ceiling is Notion's: anything the underlying document cannot express, the site cannot either.
A free site publishes on a super.site subdomain with hosting and SSL included. Paid plans are $16 and $28 a month, with a second column of $10, $20 and $30 attached to annual billing, described as two months free. A done-for-you setup is quoted from $50 plus fees for modifications.
Somebody who already runs their notes, docs or portfolio in Notion and wants it public without maintaining a second copy anywhere. Updating the page updates the site. Anybody who needs a layout Notion cannot express, or a CMS with real content modelling, is choosing the wrong foundation and should start from a builder instead.
The ceiling here is Notion's rather than Super's, so sketch your hardest page in Notion first and see whether it can hold it. If it can, this is the fastest route from a document to a fast public site that exists.
