Screencastify

Screencastify records the screen from a Chrome extension and adds what a teacher needs and a marketer does not: questions inside the video, collected replies, and a way to ask thirty people to record something back. It works for a plain product demo too. The free plan stops at ten videos of thirty minutes each.

Free is ten videos of up to thirty minutes, shareable by link with privacy controls. Starter is $7 a user a month billed annually, or $19 monthly, lifts the video cap, extends recordings to an hour and adds editing, questions and collected submissions. Pro at $10 or $25 goes to three hours and adds captions, transcripts, translation, voiceover and the AI teleprompter. The monthly price is close to three times the annual one, which is the steepest gap in this category.

Teachers, trainers and anybody whose recordings are meant to be answered rather than only watched. For a plain product demo Loom is quicker and its free tier is more generous.
