Email, SMS and automation on one free plan
Growing an audience
Running the business
MailerLite sends campaigns, runs automations and hosts the signup forms feeding them, and prices all of it under the tools it competes with. The editor is plain in a way that suits people who write more than they design. The free plan stops at 250 subscribers, which is a fraction of what beehiiv and Kit give away, so the comparison is really about what you pay at ten thousand.
Free covers 250 subscribers. Comfort starts at $12 a month and Power at $25, both quoted against a subscriber count you pick on the page, so the figure you sign up at is not the figure you keep paying as the list grows. Paying yearly takes 10 percent off. Enterprise is quoted on subscriber count and add-ons. Sending through the API stays a paid-plan feature after the 14 days end.
Writers and small businesses who care more about the bill at ten thousand subscribers than about the editor. The free plan is too small to run on for long, so treat this as a paid tool with a fortnight to decide.
The cheap end of email, done properly. Kit is better at automation and beehiiv at growth, and MailerLite wins on the bill, which for a list that is not itself the product is often the only comparison that matters.
