LiveChat puts a chat window on a site and routes the conversations to whoever is answering, with canned replies, transcripts and a record of what somebody was looking at when they asked. It is priced per person rather than per conversation, so a solo operator pays for one seat. The chatbot is a separate product from the same company at its own price. For a creator selling a course or a service, this is the direct line.
Three published tiers plus an enterprise one sold by conversation. Starter is $19 a person a month billed annually and $25 billed monthly; Team is $49 or $59; Business is $79 or $89. The comparison table prints both cadences outright and states all prices are in dollars, which is rarer in this category than it should be. A 14 day trial covers the plans. The chatbot product is a separate subscription from $52 a month and is not included at any tier.
Somebody selling a course, a service or a product where the question before the purchase is the purchase, and answering it live is worth a seat. Per-person pricing makes it affordable for one operator, which volume-based chat tools rarely are. Anybody wanting the conversations answered automatically rather than by a person is buying the wrong half of this company's catalogue and should price the chatbot separately.
Price the chatbot in from the start if deflecting questions was the reason you came, because the live chat subscription does not include it and the combined figure is a different decision. For a one-person operation the entry tier is genuinely usable rather than a stripped demonstration.
