Linktree is fast to set up and understood by every audience, which is most of its value. Payments, email capture and basic analytics are all there now. Customization is limited unless you pay.
The free plan gives unlimited links, the basic appearance options and simple analytics, which is genuinely enough for most people. Paid tiers start around $5 a month and buy customization, better analytics and the removal of Linktree's branding. Prices are shown in local currency and vary by region, and Linktree's own page says the tiers change often, so check it rather than trusting a figure quoted anywhere else. Most plans can be billed monthly or annually, with annual discounted.
Anybody who wants a link page working today and does not care that it looks like everyone else's. Creators selling seriously will outgrow it, because the store and the audience tools are better elsewhere.
Fine, and rarely the best answer. Beacons does more for the same money and beehiiv or Kit do the audience part properly; Linktree wins on the one thing that is hard to buy, which is that your followers already know what it is.
