Bitly shortens and brands links, makes QR codes that stay editable after they have been printed, and builds a link-in-bio page from the same account, with click data under all three. The free plan is five links a month and carries advertising. What the money buys is the branded domain and the reporting behind it.
The free plan is five links and two QR codes a month and it carries advertising, which the page states on the tier itself rather than in a footnote. Core is $10 a month, or $120 a year, and is the first tier with custom back-halves. Growth at $29 brings 500 links, ten landing pages and the AI assistant. Premium at $199 is 3,000 links and twenty pages, and Enterprise is quoted. The monthly caps are the thing to read: this is priced by links created rather than clicks served, which is unusual and is what decides the tier you need.
Anybody who needs the same link in a video description, on a printed flyer and in a bio, and wants to know which of the three worked. The free plan is five links a month, which is too small to run anything on, so this is a paid tool in practice.
For a bio link alone this is expensive next to Linktree or Zaap. It earns the money when the same links are going onto packaging and into a campaign report, which is the job the cheaper ones do not do.
