It transcodes, delivers, and will lock a video down with DRM if the content is worth stealing, which is the feature that usually forces a jump to enterprise pricing elsewhere. Image optimisation runs on the same account. The dashboard assumes you know what a bitrate ladder is, and does not apologise for it.

The free plan gives 100GB of bandwidth and sixty minutes of live streaming a month with an ad-free player, which is enough to run a small course. Paid plans on the annual view start at $6 a month for 3,000GB and a thousand live minutes, then $19 and $99 as the allowances grow. Overage is stated per gigabyte and falls from $0.15 to $0.06 as you move up. DRM is $99 a month on top of any plan. The figures above are the annually billed ones, so a monthly commitment costs more.

Somebody putting video into a product or a paid course who needs it to look like theirs and to stay behind a paywall. The DRM option is the specific reason people arrive, because most competitors treat it as an enterprise conversation. If the video is going on YouTube anyway, this is infrastructure nobody is asking you to pay for.
