Wave.video puts three things on one bill that are normally three subscriptions: an editor, a video host with embeds, and live streaming out to several destinations at once. The hosting side states its bandwidth and storage allowances rather than claiming they are unlimited, and charges per gigabyte beyond them. It suits somebody whose video mostly ends up on their own site.
Free covers a basic editor, fifteen minutes with a watermark and 10 GB a month. Streamer is $16, Creator $24 and Business $48. The page carries an annual and monthly toggle with no billing line on the cards, so which of the two these figures belong to is not established. Hosting limits are the numbers to compare: 20 embeds and 150 GB of traffic on one tier, 200 embeds and 500 GB on the next, then 10 cents per extra gigabyte and 20 cents per extra video beyond 200.
Somebody who embeds video on their own site and also goes live, and who would rather hold one bill than three. If video hosting is all you need, a dedicated host gives better analytics and player control.
The stated allowances are worth more than they look, because most bundled hosting hides its limits until you cross one. Compare the traffic ceiling against your actual monthly views before assuming the bundle is cheaper than buying separately.
