Tella records a screen and a camera and then does the thing that usually takes an editor: backgrounds, rounded corners, zooms that follow the cursor and clean cuts between takes. A product demo comes out looking like it was made on purpose rather than grabbed in one sitting. The output is a hosted video with its own link. Somebody who needs frame-level control will find the constraints exactly as constraining as they sound.

Pro is $13 a month and Premium is $19, both per user. There is a free tier above them on the page with the Pro card listing everything in it plus the paid additions. The two paid tiers are close enough together that the decision is usually about limits rather than about capability, so check the recording length and export options against what you actually ship rather than assuming the cheaper one is the compromise.

Founders and product people who record demos often and cannot justify an editor for any of them. The output looks deliberate, which matters when the video is going to a customer or into a launch post. Anybody who needs frame-accurate control, multi-track audio or a real timeline will find the constraints that make it fast are exactly the ones that make it limiting.
