SendOwl delivers digital files after payment and prices that on volume rather than on a share of the sale, which is the difference that matters to anybody selling a high-priced product. Every feature is on every plan, so the tier only decides how many orders, how much revenue and how much bandwidth are covered. Products and storage are uncapped at all levels. The flat fee is worse than a percentage for somebody selling very little, and better for everybody above that crossover.
Launch is $32.50 a month billed annually or $39 monthly, covering 5,000 orders a year, $10,000 in sales and 10 GB of bandwidth a month, with unlimited products and storage. Grow is $72.50 annually for 25,000 orders and $36,000 in sales, and Scale is $132.50 for 50,000 orders and $100,000 in sales. Business plans start at $299 a month for up to $200,000 in annual sales. Every plan carries the same feature set.
Somebody selling a small number of high-priced digital products, where a percentage cut would cost far more than a flat monthly fee. The uncapped product count suits a large back catalogue sold at low volume. Anybody selling occasionally, or testing whether a product sells at all, will do better on a platform that charges nothing until money moves.
Work out where the flat fee beats a percentage on your own numbers, because the crossover against a platform charging 5 to 10 percent arrives at a few hundred dollars of monthly sales. Watch the revenue ceiling rather than the order count, since a dear product hits the sales cap long before the order cap.
