Running the business
Podia sells courses, digital downloads, coaching and memberships from one storefront, with an email tool attached so the list and the products live together. Nothing in it is the best version of itself, and that is the trade being offered: one subscription instead of four. The entry plan charges 5 percent of sales, which the two plans above it drop.
Mover is $42 a month billed yearly at $504, with 5 percent fees, 100 email subscribers, 50 products and 500 videos. Shaker is $84 at $1,008, drops the fee to zero and raises the caps, adding affiliate marketing, upsells, PayPal and Zapier. Earthquaker is $150 at $1,800 with unlimited products, videos and assistants. Stripe or PayPal processing is charged separately on top of all three. A 30-day free trial covers everything.
Creators selling a small catalogue of digital products who want one subscription instead of four. Anybody whose course is the whole business will find the course features thinner than Teachable's.
The 5 percent on the entry plan is the number to run first. Past about $850 of monthly sales the fee costs more than the $42 jump to Shaker, and that jump also removes the email subscriber cap.
