Running the business
getimg.ai is a front end to a couple of dozen image and video models sharing one credit balance, which is what saves running four subscriptions to compare four models. Editing, upscaling and a speech generator sit in the same account. Commercial rights come with every plan, including the cheapest, which is not true of everything in this category.
Entry is $10 a month, or $96 a year, for 3,000 credits, eleven image models, nine video models, 4K upscaling and two generations at a time. Core at $30 a seat opens every model, 15,000 credits and 8K. Plus at $65 gives 35,000 credits, 16K and eight at a time. Yearly billing takes about 20 percent off each. What the tiers really sell is model access and concurrency rather than credits alone, so read the second column before buying on the headline price.
Somebody producing a lot of images who wants to keep testing which model is currently best rather than betting a subscription on one of them. The $10 tier is 3,000 credits, which is real work rather than a demo. A person who needs a handful of images a month is better served by a free tier elsewhere.
Against a single-model subscription this wins on breadth and loses on depth, because nothing here is tuned the way a dedicated tool is. Pick it when the job is volume and variety, and pick a specialist when one look has to be exactly right.
