Genius Referrals runs customer referral schemes rather than affiliate marketing, which is a different job: the people doing the referring are buyers rather than publishers, and the rewards go both ways. Plans are metered on new advocates a month with a stated overage rather than a cliff, so a good month costs a known amount. Payout automation is an add-on rather than a tier. Existing advocates are not counted twice, which the page states, and that is what stops the meter running on people who joined last year.
Starter is $71 a month billed annually or $89 monthly and covers 250 new advocates a month, one referral program, one reward campaign, single and double-sided rewards, basic branding and email support, with automated payouts available as an add-on. Extra advocates are 20 cents each rather than a forced tier change. Silver, Gold and the tier above run to $175, $343 and $679 annually. Every plan has a 14-day trial.
A business whose best new customers arrive through existing ones, where the referrer is a buyer rather than a publisher and the reward has to work both ways. The stated overage suits a program with uneven months. Anybody wanting publishers and content creators promoting them for commission is describing affiliate marketing, and Tolt or Refgrow are shaped for that instead.
The 20-cent overage is worth more than it looks, because it turns a good month into a known cost rather than an upgrade conversation. Check that your program really is customer-to-customer before buying here, since the pricing meter counts advocates and an affiliate program with ten hard-working publishers would waste the whole allowance.
