Figma is where most interface design happens now, and creators arrive at it for brand kits, thumbnails and anything a developer has to build from later. Files live in the browser and several people can be inside one at the same time without anybody emailing a version. The free Starter plan carries unlimited drafts, which covers solo work. Seats are priced by what you actually do in the file.

Starter is free with unlimited drafts, UI kits and templates, and a daily AI credit allowance. Professional prices three seat types: $16 a month for a full seat, $12 for a dev seat and $3 for a collaboration seat. Organization and Enterprise price the same three seats higher and both state annual billing outright. The Professional toggle's state could not be settled from the page, so no billing cadence is claimed for the figure quoted here.

Anybody designing something that another person will build, and creators maintaining a brand kit across thumbnails, overlays and merch. Somebody who wants a finished graphic from a template in five minutes will get there faster in Canva.
