Ecamm Live is what a Mac-based show runs on when OBS is more configuration than the host wants: scenes, guests, overlays, camera control and a recording of it all, in a window that behaves like a Mac app. Multi-camera and interview layouts are the reasons podcasters pick it. It exists only for macOS, which settles the decision either way.
A 14-day trial covers both paid tiers and needs no card. Standard is $16 a month billed as one payment of $192 a year. Pro is $32 billed as $384 and adds multi-camera, guest interviews and advanced production features. Annual billing is 20 percent cheaper than the monthly rate. There is no free tier, and no perpetual licence.
Mac-based podcasters and streamers who want a polished multi-camera show without learning OBS. Windows and Linux users cannot run it at all, which settles it.
