Running the business
Semrush tracks competitor keywords, site positions and technical audits from $139 a month, or $117.33 billed annually, and it is the most expensive tool in this whole comparison. Sitebulb only crawls and explains what it finds, from $18 a month for Lite. Sitebulb says plainly that keyword research is a different product entirely, so the choice is whether you need Semrush's competitive research or just a crawler that explains its findings.

Keyword and competitor research at agency depth
Semrush is the tool an SEO reaches for when they need to know what a competitor ranks for and what it is worth. Position tracking, site audits and keyword gaps are all there, along with newer reporting on how brands surface in AI answers. It costs more than most creators can justify, and the entry plan tracks five sites and 500 keywords.
Only on this side
A crawler that explains what it found
Sitebulb crawls a site and returns prioritised issues with an explanation of why each one matters, which is the difference between this and a spreadsheet of URLs. Crawl maps draw the structure of a site as a picture. JavaScript rendering is on every plan rather than reserved for the dearest. The desktop product audits ten thousand URLs at the entry tier, so anybody auditing a large site is looking at the cloud version instead.
Our note
Check your URL count before choosing Lite, because 10,000 sounds generous and a site with faceted navigation or a large archive passes it without anybody noticing. The explanations are the reason to buy this over a cheaper crawler, and they are worth most to whoever is still learning what the findings mean.
Pick Semrush if competitor keyword research, position tracking and AI-answer visibility matter, because traffic comes from search and you compete against sites with SEO teams. $139 a month, or $117.33 billed annually, is real money, and the five-site, 500-keyword entry limit is the first wall most people hit.
Pick Sitebulb if a crawl and its explanations are the actual job. Lite is $18 a month, a small fraction of Semrush's price, and JavaScript crawling is included on every tier rather than reserved for the top one.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
