Scheduling and analytics across brands
Metricool schedules to most of the networks a creator uses and then reports on what happened, including competitor tracking and paid campaign numbers in the same view. Pricing counts brands rather than seats, which suits somebody running several accounts. The free plan schedules 20 posts a month, enough to decide whether the reports are worth paying for.
Our note
Twenty scheduled posts a month on the free plan lasts a single creator a long time. Against Later the pricing is per brand rather than per social set, which is why it scales better across clients and gives less to somebody managing one account closely.

Privacy-first analytics without cookies
Plausible answers what a Google Analytics dashboard takes four clicks to answer, on one page, without cookies or a consent banner. The script is a fraction of the size, which shows up in a page speed score. There are no user-level reports at all, so anybody who needs to follow one visitor around is in the wrong tool.
Our note
Not running a consent banner is a saving the price does not show. No cookies means no banner and no consent records to keep, and on a small site that is worth more than the gap between $9 a month and free analytics.
