Running the business
Mangools bundles five SEO tools, keyword research, SERP checker, rank tracker, backlink and site profiler, into one simple login at $37.70 a month on the annual plan ($452.40 a year). Moz sells one deeper tool built around Domain Authority and Link Explorer, at $49 a month with no annual commitment required, plus a free browser extension that needs no account. Mangools is cheaper only if you commit for a year; billed monthly it runs $61, more than Moz's flat rate. The real split is daily caps against a smaller link index.

Five SEO tools that do not need a manual
Mangools is KWFinder and four siblings sold together, and its reason to exist is that the serious suites are overwhelming for anybody who is not doing SEO full time. Keyword difficulty is one number you can act on, the SERP view shows who you would have to beat, and the rank tracker keeps score. Limits are per day rather than generous. An agency running client reporting at volume will hit the ceiling and know it.
Our note
Buy this for the interface, which is the only real reason to pick it over a cheaper suite with deeper data. The per-day request caps are the thing that will actually stop you, so count a normal week's lookups before assuming Basic is enough.
Rank tracking and link data from Moz Pro
Moz has been measuring domain authority since the metric was invented, and its rank tracking, link explorer and keyword research still cover what a content site needs to watch. Its free browser extension is what most people meet first. The index is smaller than Ahrefs', and the entry plan is priced for one site rather than for an agency.
Pick Mangools if you do SEO as one job among several and want a score you can act on rather than a dataset to interpret. Bloggers, solo founders and freelancers are the audience, and $37.70 a month buys all five tools, keyword, SERP, rank, link and site lookup, together. The 100 keyword requests and 100 SERP analyses allowed per day are the ceiling, and an agency running client audits at volume hits it in an afternoon.
Pick Moz if you want Domain Authority, the metric sponsors and other sites already recognize, plus a free browser extension you can hand a client with no signup. Its $49 a month covers one site with no minimum term, cheaper to try than Mangools' own month-to-month rate of $61. Anybody doing serious backlink analysis will still find the index smaller than the bigger suites, so pair it with something else for that job.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
The entry price is the argument, at $49 a month for a single site against what Ahrefs and Semrush charge. The link index behind it is smaller. Buy it for rank tracking and check backlinks somewhere else.
