Moz has been measuring domain authority since the metric was invented, and its rank tracking, link explorer and keyword research still cover what a content site needs to watch. Its free browser extension is what most people meet first. The index is smaller than Ahrefs', and the entry plan is priced for one site rather than for an agency.
An entry-level plan is stated at $49 a month for a single website. Above it, Standard is $99 a month or $79 paid yearly, Medium is $179 or $143 and Large is $299 or $239, separated by tracked keywords, campaigns and AI content briefs. Extra campaigns are $20 each and AI prompt tracking is $50 per 100 prompts. A free trial is offered without a stated length, and the free SEO tools and browser extension need no account at all.
Content sites and small agencies who want rank tracking and link data without Ahrefs pricing. Anybody doing serious backlink analysis will find the index smaller than the alternatives.
The entry price is the argument, at $49 a month for a single site against what Ahrefs and Semrush charge. The link index behind it is smaller. Buy it for rank tracking and check backlinks somewhere else.
