Working Nomads collects remote jobs across fifteen or so fields and mails a daily digest for the categories you pick. The public board is free and shows a subset; the subscription opens the rest along with filters and no advertising. For a freelancer between contracts it is a cheaper habit than most job boards charge for. Employers pay to post, which is the other half of the business.

The public board and the email alerts are free. Premium is $17.95 a month, $39.95 quarterly which the page works out to $13.32 a month, or $79.95 a year which works out to $6.67. What it buys is stated plainly: ten times more postings than the free board, advanced filters, and no advertising. The annual saving is large enough that the monthly plan only makes sense for a search you expect to finish quickly.

A freelancer or contractor between engagements who would rather have listings arrive than go looking, and for whom a few dollars a month is cheaper than the hours. The premium tier is worth it during an active search and hard to justify outside one. Anybody hiring should note this is aimed at the person applying, and posting a role is the other side of the business.
