Storyblocks charges a flat subscription and lets you download as much as you want, which is the opposite of the credit model everywhere else and much easier to budget against. Footage, music, images and templates all sit under the same plan. The library is smaller than Shutterstock's and you notice it on anything specific.

Essentials is $21 a month billed annually with unlimited footage, images and templates on an individual licence. Unlimited All Access is $30 and adds music and sound effects. Small Business is $40 and carries a licence for a company under 50 people. Business tiers are quoted. Everything is billed annually, so the monthly figures are a twelfth of a commitment rather than a monthly choice. Music sitting above the entry tier is the detail people miss when comparing against Envato.

An editor cutting several videos a week who wants to stop counting credits. Somebody needing one specific shot will search the library, not find it, and go to Shutterstock anyway.
