soundstripe.com
Soundstripe licenses music and sound effects on a subscription and clears them against YouTube automatically, so a video does not come back with a claim on it a week after going up. The catalogue runs to 58,000 tracks and nearly 100,000 effects. Single-track licences are sold separately, for anybody who needs one song rather than a habit.
The individual plans start at $9.99 a month, a figure stated in prose beside cards that do not print it, and cover personal or commercial use by one person with unlimited downloads. Business is aimed at nonprofits and small companies, covers a single market such as one city, and includes three seats with role permissions and the Adobe extensions. Single-use licences are sold separately. That market restriction is the line to read before buying Business, because it is a licence limit rather than a feature limit.
YouTubers and podcasters who publish often enough that a copyright claim is a real cost rather than a nuisance. A filmmaker doing one project a year should price the single-track licence instead of a year of subscription.
Epidemic Sound is the direct competitor and both clear YouTube automatically. Soundstripe's reference search is the better way to find a specific sound, and Epidemic's catalogue is the better place to find something nobody else has used.
