riverside.com
Riverside records every participant on their own machine, so a bad connection during the call does not ruin the file. Up to 4K video and separate audio tracks. Guests need a reasonably modern browser and some patience with the upload.
The free plan gives you two hours of multi-track recording at 720p with a watermark, which is enough to judge it. Pro is $29 a month, Grow is $39 and Webinar is $99, each with a 14-day trial, and yearly billing takes up to 20 percent off. API access appears only on the Business tier, so do not plan an automated pipeline around a plan below it. Riverside moved from riverside.fm to riverside.com, and old links still redirect.
Anybody interviewing remote guests who intends to publish the video, not only the audio. Recording alone, or with people in the same room, is a job a cheaper tool does just as well.
The one to buy if the video matters as much as the audio. If you only ever publish audio, the local-recording safety net is still the reason to be here, but a cheaper recorder plus good habits gets close.
