QuillBot started as a paraphraser and grew a grammar checker, a summariser, a citation generator and a plagiarism check around it. Students are the core audience and the pricing says so, but the rewriting modes are the fastest way to loosen a paragraph that came out stiff. The free tier caps how much text each tool will take at once rather than how often you use it.
Free is $0 a month with word limits on each tool. Premium is $8.33 a month billed annually, lifts those to 25,000 words and 300 images a month, and adds the plagiarism checker and the full rewriting modes. A Team plan adds a user management dashboard and is priced on application. Student pricing is offered separately.
Writers who get stuck on phrasing rather than on ideas, and anybody who needs a citation and a plagiarism check on the same bill. It is built for students first, so a marketer will find features they never touch.
Against Grammarly this is the cheaper option and the better rewriter; Grammarly is the better proofreader and has the wider integrations. If the problem is that a sentence reads badly rather than that it is wrong, this is the one to try.
