Prezi replaces the slide deck with one canvas the view moves around, which suits an argument with a shape to it more than a list of points. Videos and infographics sit in the same account, so a talk and the clip made from it are not two subscriptions. PowerPoint files import rather than needing rebuilding. The format is the thing to be sure about before paying: an audience expecting ordinary slides can find the movement distracting, and the effect is hard to undo once a deck is built around it.
Basic is free. Standard is $7 a month billed annually with unlimited projects, privacy controls and 500 Prezi AI credits. Plus at $19 makes the AI unlimited and adds the PowerPoint converter, premium images, PDF export, presentation recording, the desktop application and offline access. Premium at $29 adds analytics and training. Every paid tier starts with a 14-day trial, and separate pricing exists for students, educators and business.
A speaker whose material has a structure worth showing, where zooming between parts of one picture explains something that a sequence of slides would flatten. Teachers and conference speakers get the most out of it. Anybody presenting to a room that expects ordinary slides, or presenting numbers rather than relationships, will find the movement works against them, and it is hard to back out of once a deck is built this way.
Decide on the format before the price, because the zooming canvas is either the entire reason to be here or a distraction your audience will mention afterwards. If you only need slides that look better than the default, Beautiful.ai or Pitch will get you there with less to explain.
