payoneer.com
Payoneer gives you receiving accounts in currencies you do not bank in, which is how a creator paid by a marketplace, a network or a brand abroad gets the money without losing a chunk to their own bank. There is no monthly fee. The cost is per movement, and the rate depends entirely on how the payer sends it, so the same invoice can arrive free or at nearly four percent. Reading the fee table before choosing how to be paid is the whole trick.
There is no plan and no monthly fee, so the cost is entirely in how money moves. Receiving from another Payoneer balance is free, and so is receiving into a receiving account in your own local currency. A receiving account in a currency that is not your local one costs 1 percent, with a minimum of one dollar. A payer using a credit card costs up to 3.99 percent plus 49 cents, and the same rate applies to PayPal in the United States, while ACH debit and EU or UK bank transfers are both 1 percent. Marketplace payouts vary by marketplace rather than being set by Payoneer. The spread between free and nearly four percent is decided by the payer's method, which makes telling clients how to pay you the single most valuable thing on this page.
A creator whose money comes from outside their own country: an ad network paying in dollars, a marketplace paying in euros, a brand in a third place. It earns its keep when the alternative is a domestic bank applying its own exchange rate to a wire. Somebody paid entirely in their home currency by domestic clients has no problem here worth solving and should stay with their bank.
Ask clients to send bank transfers rather than card payments, because the same invoice costs 1 percent one way and close to 4 percent the other. Wise is the comparison worth running for straightforward client work; Payoneer's advantage is the marketplaces that pay into it natively.
