Marq exists for the problem where somebody outside the design team has to make a flyer and must not be able to move the logo. Templates lock whichever parts carry the brand and leave the rest editable, so a franchise or a chapter can localise a poster without redrawing it. The product came out of Lucidpress and kept that job when it changed name.
Every card on the page reads $10 a month per user, billed yearly, which the footnote states as $120 a year, and the monthly rate is not shown. A free seven-day trial is offered. The tiers differ by brand controls and administration rather than by the editor, so the question is how much governance you need rather than which features you get.
Organisations where people outside the design team produce branded material: franchises, chapters, sales teams, schools. A solo creator has nobody to lock templates against and should use Canva instead.
This is bought for the lock rather than for the drawing, and if nobody is going to misuse your logo you do not need it. The former name, Lucidpress, is still what half the internet's tutorials call it.
