Kindest gives a nonprofit donation forms, recurring giving and donor records on a free plan that takes a percentage instead of a monthly fee, and waives even that on the first fifty thousand dollars of a first year. The paid tier lowers the percentage and adds text campaigns and scheduled time with a person. Forms default to asking the donor to cover fees. Everything here assumes a registered charity rather than an individual.
The free plan carries three admin seats and a 5 percent platform fee, waived on the first $50,000 raised in a first year. The paid plan is $1,800 a year, drops the platform fee to 3.75 percent, and adds text campaigns, an hour of scheduled support a month and a private support channel. Card processing of 2.9 percent plus 30 cents sits on top of either, and the forms default to asking donors to cover it. No monthly price is published for the paid tier.
A small United States nonprofit starting from nothing, where a monthly bill before the first donation is the obstacle. The waived fee on an opening fifty thousand dollars is aimed exactly at that organisation. A charity already raising steadily should compare the paid tier's lower percentage against a flat-fee platform, because at volume the percentage model is the expensive one.
Work out where 1.25 percentage points saves more than $1,800 a year, which is around $144,000 of annual donations, and pick the plan on that rather than on the feature list. Below that number the free plan is the right answer even once the waiver runs out.
