kartra.com

Kartra sells the whole stack in one subscription: pages, checkout, email, membership and the course itself, with everything wired together on arrival. The trade is stated plainly on the pricing page, because the cheapest plan takes five percent of what you sell. Contact limits are the other constraint and they bind sooner than most people expect. Anybody with an email platform they like is paying twice.
Essentials is $59 a month billed monthly and carries 500 contacts, 10,000 emails a month, one custom domain and five pages, along with a 5 percent transaction fee on what you sell. Starter is $119 a month and is the tier marked best value. Annual billing is offered as saving up to 22 percent. The contact limit is the constraint that moves people up rather than any missing feature, and the transaction fee is the one to model, because 5 percent of $5,000 a month is $250, which is more than the subscription it sits on top of.
Somebody launching a paid offer who would otherwise buy a page builder, an email platform, a cart and a course host separately and spend a fortnight connecting them. It suits a creator who wants one bill and one support line. Anybody with an email platform they are happy with is paying for a second one, and the transaction fee at the entry tier makes it a poor fit for high volume at low margin.
Work out the transaction fee against your expected sales before choosing Essentials, because at any real volume the dearer plan is cheaper once the percentage stops applying. Systeme.io covers similar ground on a free tier and Kajabi is the closer comparison at the top end.
