Flixier edits in a browser tab and does the rendering on its own machines, so an export finishes at the same speed on a cheap laptop as on a workstation. Footage can be pulled in from Drive, Dropbox and a phone without a download step first. The free tier watermarks and caps exports at ten minutes a month, which is enough to judge it and not enough to work with. Seats are what get billed, and the AI credits included per seat are the other thing separating the plans.
The free plan gives ten minutes of export a month at 720p with a watermark, five minutes of subtitles and 2 GB of storage. Starter is $19 a seat a month with 2,000 AI credits, Creator is $39 with 10,000, and there is a $69 tier above that. The vendor states the watermark is what keeps the free plan free and that any paid plan removes it permanently.
Somebody editing on a laptop that cannot render quickly, or on a borrowed machine where nothing can be installed. Cloud rendering is the whole argument, and it is a strong one for anybody who has waited an hour for an export. Editors with a capable machine and a large library of local footage will find uploading everything a worse workflow than a desktop application.
This earns its keep when your export queue is the bottleneck, and not otherwise, so time one render on your current machine before deciding. Kapwing and VEED are the direct comparisons, and the tiebreaker is usually which one already connects to where your footage lives.
