ElevenLabs clones a voice from a short sample and dubs video into other languages while keeping the delivery. Creators use it for narration, corrections and reaching audiences in other languages. Disclose it, and get permission before cloning anyone else.
The free plan gives 10,000 credits a month and does not include a commercial licence, which is the detail worth catching before publishing anything made on it. Starter is $6 a month and adds that licence, Creator is $22, and the tiers run up through Pro at $99 and Scale at $299. Annual billing costs ten months for twelve. There is no trial, since the free plan serves as one.
Creators publishing narration or reaching audiences in more than one language, and anybody who needs to fix a line without re-recording. Get permission before cloning anybody else's voice, and say that a voice is generated: the ethics here are not a formality and audiences do notice.
The commercial licence sitting on the paid tier rather than the free one is the thing people miss. If a generated voice is going anywhere public, be on Starter at least, and disclose it.
