Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Open source site analytics with no cookie banner
Umami counts visits without cookies or personal data, which is what keeps a consent banner off the front of a site nobody came to for a consent banner. The whole thing is open source, so it can be self-hosted for nothing on hardware you already pay for, and the cloud plan exists for people who would rather not. Events are the billing unit above the free tier. The dashboard is deliberately one screen.
Our note
Self-host it if you already run a server, because the software is the same and the cloud plan is convenience rather than capability. Against Plausible the feature sets are close enough that the decision comes down to whether you want to operate it yourself, and Umami is the one that lets you.
Video hosting that reports who watched what
Vidyard hosts video for people who need to know what happened after the embed loaded: which viewer watched, how far they got, and what to do about it. That is a sales and marketing shape rather than an audience one, and it is the reason to choose it over a general host. For a creator it earns its place on a course page, a pitch to a sponsor, or anywhere a play is a lead rather than a view. There is a free tier with a video cap.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Our note
Only worth the per-seat price if somebody acts on the viewer data, because that reporting is the entire difference from a cheaper host. For publishing to an audience rather than to named people, look at the general video hosts on this site first.
