Running the business
SE Ranking bundles the full SEO toolkit, rank tracking, audits, backlinks, at $129 a month, or $103.20 billed annually, with API access and white labelling included from the entry plan. Serpstat covers the same categories from $50 a month, working out to about $31 billed annually once its stated $228 yearly saving is applied, but its entry tier has no API access at all and caps backlink reports at 2,000 results against SE Ranking's larger allowances. Serpstat is the cheaper specialist for a lighter workload. SE Ranking is the fuller toolkit for an agency that needs the ceiling higher.

The full SEO toolkit at a smaller price
SE Ranking does rank tracking, keyword and competitor research, backlink checks and site audits, and prices them well under what the two market leaders charge for the same list. It has since added tracking for what the AI answer engines say about a brand. Agencies use it because reporting and white labelling are built in rather than sold on.
Our note
SE Ranking is what you buy when Ahrefs and Semrush are right and also twice the price. The add-on list is where the cost creeps back, so price the agency pack in before comparing.
A full SEO suite at fifty dollars a month
Serpstat does keyword research, rank tracking, backlink analysis and site audits from one account, and prices the entry plan below where the better-known suites start. The data is thinner in some markets than Ahrefs or Semrush, which is the honest trade for the difference. For somebody checking a few hundred keywords a month rather than running an agency, the cheaper tier is not a compromised version of the tool, it is the same tool with lower limits.
Choose SE Ranking if API access and a higher project ceiling matter from the start: entry is $129 a month for 10 projects, 250,000 pages of monthly audit and 25,000 API credits, with client reporting and white labelling built in. It costs more than Serpstat at every tier, which is the price of the larger allowances.
Choose Serpstat if the workload is smaller and the API is not required yet: Individual is $50 a month, or roughly $31 once billed annually, for a few hundred tracked keywords and one or two sites. It has no API credits at all on that entry tier, and backlink reports cap at 2,000 results against 10,000 on the plans above, which is the honest trade for the lower price. An agency running client reporting at volume will hit both limits and the data depth before SE Ranking's ceilings.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
The data is thinner than the market leaders in some regions, and that gap is the whole difference in price. Run the trial against keywords you already know the answer for, because that comparison tells you in an afternoon whether the cheaper tier is enough.
