Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Get paid by a marketplace in another country
Payoneer gives you receiving accounts in currencies you do not bank in, which is how a creator paid by a marketplace, a network or a brand abroad gets the money without losing a chunk to their own bank. There is no monthly fee. The cost is per movement, and the rate depends entirely on how the payer sends it, so the same invoice can arrive free or at nearly four percent. Reading the fee table before choosing how to be paid is the whole trick.
Our note
Ask clients to send bank transfers rather than card payments, because the same invoice costs 1 percent one way and close to 4 percent the other. Wise is the comparison worth running for straightforward client work; Payoneer's advantage is the marketplaces that pay into it natively.
Card payments at a published per-charge rate
Stripe is the processor a great many of the tools in this directory are quietly built on, and going to it directly makes sense once you sell from a site you control. The rate is published rather than quoted, which is rarer in payments than it sounds. Subscriptions, invoices, payment links and a hosted checkout all sit on the same account. Nothing is billed monthly, so an idle account costs nothing.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Our note
Go direct to Stripe when you own the storefront and can live with your own tax admin. If VAT and sales tax registration is the part keeping you awake, pay the extra couple of points for a merchant of record and stop thinking about it.
