Maestra transcribes, subtitles and dubs into another language with a synthetic voice, all from one file, across 125 languages, starting at $23 a month billed annually for 180 minutes, or $12 for 60 credits with no subscription. Notta transcribes and translates in over a hundred languages too but stops at bilingual, not full dubbing, and gives far more room for less: 1,800 minutes a month on Pro at $8.17 billed annually, against Maestra's 180. Maestra's own pricing page even says a podcaster wanting only an English transcript should pay less at Notta instead. Dubbing is the one thing that changes the answer.

Transcription, subtitles and dubbing
Maestra transcribes, then subtitles, then dubs into another language with a synthetic voice, and keeps all three views of the same file in one editor. Working across 125 languages is what it sells, and the dubbing is the part that has no cheap equivalent. Minutes are the unit of billing, so a long back catalogue is a budgeting exercise.
Transcription and AI summaries by the minute
Notta records or ingests audio, transcribes it in over a hundred languages, and produces a summary with action items attached. Bilingual transcription and translation are what it is picked for over the English-first tools. The free tier's 120 minutes a month is one long interview, and everything above that is measured in minutes rather than in files.
Pick Maestra when the job needs an actual dub, a synthetic voice track in another language, which Notta does not offer at all. Lite is $23 a month billed annually for 180 minutes, working out to roughly thirteen cents a minute, a real premium over plain transcription, and one Maestra's own materials say is not worth paying if a transcript is all you need.
Pick Notta for that transcript: Pro is $8.17 a month billed annually for 1,800 minutes, ten times Maestra's minute allowance for about a third of the price, plus AI summaries with action items and a free plan that covers 120 minutes a month before paying anything. Bilingual translation is as far as Notta goes; past that, only Maestra dubs.
