Making the work
Growing an audience
Running the business
Grammarly checks spelling, grammar and tone inside the box you are already typing in, free, and adds full-sentence rewrites plus plagiarism detection on Pro at $12 a month. QuillBot began as a paraphraser and still wins on that job: Premium runs $8.33 a month billed annually, about $100 a year against Grammarly Pro's $144, with word caps instead of a countdown on its free tier. Grammarly is built to catch mistakes before a sponsor sees them. QuillBot is built to fix a sentence that already reads wrong.

The second pair of eyes on everything you write
Grammarly catches the mistakes that get noticed in a sponsor email or a video description, and it does it inside whatever box you are typing in rather than in a separate app. The free tier covers spelling, grammar and tone. Rewriting, plagiarism detection and the larger prompt allowance sit behind Pro.
Paraphrasing and grammar checks in one place
QuillBot started as a paraphraser and grew a grammar checker, a summariser, a citation generator and a plagiarism check around it. Students are the core audience and the pricing says so, but the rewriting modes are the fastest way to loosen a paragraph that came out stiff. The free tier caps how much text each tool will take at once rather than how often you use it.
Our note
Against Grammarly this is the cheaper option and the better rewriter; Grammarly is the better proofreader and has the wider integrations. If the problem is that a sentence reads badly rather than that it is wrong, this is the one to try.
Pick Grammarly if mistakes in public writing, emails, video descriptions, sponsor pitches, are the risk you manage day to day. The free tier covers spelling, grammar, tone and 100 AI prompts a month. Pro is $12 a month, $144 a year, and adds 2,000 prompts, full rewrites and a plagiarism check after a 7-day trial that takes no payment up front.
Pick QuillBot if the sentence is already correct and simply reads stiff. Premium is $8.33 a month billed annually, about $100 a year, and lifts the free plan's caps to 25,000 words and 300 images a month while adding the plagiarism checker and a citation generator. It is built for students first, so a marketer will meet features aimed past them.
