Making the work
Growing an audience
Running the business
GetResponse is a broad email and automation platform with landing pages, funnels and paid webinars built in, starting at $15.58 a month billed annually. Mailmodo sends interactive email, forms, polls and booking widgets that render and submit inside the message itself, from $27 a month billed annually, falling back to an ordinary email with a link wherever a client blocks that. GetResponse is the cheaper, broader tool; Mailmodo is the pricier specialist for a single feature that either matters to your response rate or does not.

Email, automation and webinars on one bill
GetResponse has been sending email since before most of its competitors existed, and it kept adding: landing pages, funnels, paid webinars, an ecommerce push. For a creator selling a course that breadth removes two other subscriptions. It also means the interface carries twenty years of features, and the newer tools feel lighter to use.
Our note
The webinar tool is the reason to pick this over Kit or MailerLite, and it is worth real money if you run live sessions. If you do not, you are paying for twenty years of features to send email that those two send more pleasantly.
Only on this side
Emails a reader can fill in without leaving
Mailmodo sends interactive email: a form, a poll or a booking widget renders inside the message and submits from there, so a survey does not need a landing page and a click. Where a mail client refuses that, it falls back to an ordinary email with a link. Campaigns, journeys and the interactive blocks sit in one builder. The interactive part is the whole reason to pay, so it is worth checking whether the audience reads mail somewhere that supports it before committing.
Pick GetResponse if you are selling a course or coaching offer and want email, landing pages and paid webinars on one bill. Starter is $15.58 a month billed annually after a 14-day trial, cheaper than Mailmodo's entry price, and the webinar tool is the feature that actually justifies paying more than a plain newsletter tool.
Pick Mailmodo if your emails ask readers to do something small, fill a form, answer a poll, book a slot, and you keep losing them at the click to a landing page. Lite is $27 a month billed annually, and the entire value is the interactive rendering, so check where your audience actually opens mail before paying: clients that block it just get a normal email with a link, the fallback you already had.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
Check where your readers actually open mail before buying, because the interactive rendering is the product and the fallback is a normal email with a link. If most of your list is on a client that supports it, the response-rate gain is real and easily worth $27.
