Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
A support agent trained on your own pages
Chatbase builds a chat agent from your site, your documents and your help centre, then puts it on the page as a widget. Answers come from what you fed it rather than from the open web, which is the whole reason to use one of these rather than a general assistant. It also hands off to a person when the agent is out of its depth.
Our note
This is the cheapest sensible way to put a support agent on a site whose answers already exist in writing. Manychat and Chatfuel are the better fit when the conversation happens in Instagram or Messenger rather than on your own page.
One inbox for email, chat and social
Re:amaze collects email, live chat, social messages and an FAQ into a single helpdesk priced per team member, so a one-person operation pays for one person. Macros, response templates and chatbots handle the questions that repeat. The middle tier adds SMS and voice and the ability to run several brands from one account. Nothing here is built for comment moderation on a social feed, so a creator whose volume is all Instagram replies is buying the wrong shape of tool.
Our note
Start on Basic unless you are supporting two brands, because that is the single feature the Pro tier is really selling and everything else on it is a refinement. Take the annual discount only after a month of real volume, since a helpdesk that turns out to be the wrong shape is an expensive thing to have prepaid.
Ratings are the average of reviews readers left. The facts are stated by each tool’s own listing and are not verified by CloutStack. How we make money.
