Running the business
Bitly shortens links, prints editable QR codes and builds a bio page, with a free plan capped at five links a month and paid tiers from $10. Rebrandly shortens links onto a domain you own, with a free plan of ten links a month, exactly double Bitly's, and paid tiers starting one dollar higher at $11. Both charge by how many links are created rather than by clicks. The real comparison is what each extra dollar buys: Bitly's UTM builder and AI assistant, or Rebrandly's cheaper growth at higher volumes and the ability to repoint a link after it has already been shared.

Short links, QR codes and a bio page
Bitly shortens and brands links, makes QR codes that stay editable after they have been printed, and builds a link-in-bio page from the same account, with click data under all three. The free plan is five links a month and carries advertising. What the money buys is the branded domain and the reporting behind it.
Our note
For a bio link alone this is expensive next to Linktree or Zaap. It earns the money when the same links are going onto packaging and into a campaign report, which is the job the cheaper ones do not do.

Branded short links on your own domain
Rebrandly shortens a link onto a domain you own, so what gets shared carries your name rather than a shortener's. Around that sit click analytics, QR codes, link galleries and the ability to change where an old link points. The free plan is ten links a month, which is a taste rather than a tool.
Choose Bitly if QR codes, a bio page and campaign tracking need to live in the same account as the links. Core is $10 a month for custom back-halves, and Growth at $29 adds landing pages and an AI assistant. It is wrong for anyone who wants more free links to start, since five a month is half what Rebrandly gives away before charging anything.
Choose Rebrandly if a branded domain matters most and the shop is likely to grow into real volume. The free plan gives ten links a month, its entry tier is $11 for 250, and the top Growth tier at $99 covers 3,500 links against Bitly's Premium at $199 for 3,000. That is cheaper and larger at once. It is wrong for anybody who wants a bio page to be the main product, since Rebrandly's link galleries are a secondary feature bundled in rather than sold on their own.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
Our note
Rebrandly is the pick when the branded domain matters more than the analytics. Short.io gives more away at the bottom of its range, so compare the two on how many links you really create each month.
