Running the business
Beaver Builder builds pages inside a WordPress site you already host, from $89 a year at its entry tier, with no free tier. Webflow is a hosted platform that ships the actual code a designer draws, free on a webflow.io subdomain and then $15 a month billed yearly once a custom domain is needed. One is a plugin for a WordPress site you already run. The other is a platform that replaces WordPress, hosting included.

A WordPress builder that leaves clean markup
Beaver Builder is the WordPress page builder chosen by people who care what happens when it is switched off: content stays as ordinary WordPress content rather than collapsing into shortcodes. Licences are annual and cover unlimited sites from the second tier. The white-label option lets an agency hand a site over without its own tooling being visible. The template library is smaller than the flashier builders, which is the trade for the markup being sane.
Our note
Choose this over Divi or Elementor when the site may outlive your involvement with it, because the shortcode lock-in is the thing that hurts a client two years later. If nobody will ever migrate the site, the cheaper unlimited licences elsewhere are the better arithmetic.
Design a site visually and ship real code
Webflow gives a designer the CSS box model as a set of panels, so the thing you draw is the thing that ships, with no theme fighting you. Its CMS handles a real content model rather than a blog with extra fields. The learning curve is genuinely steep, and somebody who has never thought about flex or position will spend a week before it clicks.
Webflow is for a designer building a site that is part of the brand, with the patience for a real learning curve: flex and positioning controls rather than a template. Starter is free on a webflow.io domain, Basic is $15 a month billed yearly once a custom domain matters, and the CMS most people actually want sits on Premium at $25 a month. Hosting is included at every tier, so there is no separate bill to add.
Beaver Builder is for anybody who already runs WordPress, or plans to keep running it, and wants the front end handled without touching a theme. It starts at $89 a year at the entry tier, more than Webflow's cheapest paid tier, and hosting is not included at all: that cost sits on top, wherever the WordPress install already lives. What it buys instead is content that stays ordinary and portable, since WordPress itself is already the content model Webflow's CMS tier is trying to replace.

Shaded rows are where the two answers disagree and both listings have answered. A row where one side has not stated a fact is left plain, because silence is not a difference.
